Maine Health Management Coalition\Pathways to Excellence

The Maine Health Management Coalition recognizes practices for excellence in care through its Pathways to Excellence Program.  This program evaluates office systems used to improve healthcare quality and safety and clinical outcomes in the delivery of chronic care, such as diabetes, heart disease, etc.

Sunbury Medical Associates practices are recognized through Pathways to Excellence for excellence in quality healthcare.

National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)

The National Committee for Quality Assurance, in association with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, has recognized several providers within Sunbury Medical Associates for providing quality care to patients with cardiovascular disease or who have had a stroke and the Diabetes Recognition Program.  This recognition is valid for three years.
