Michael Bruehl, M.D.

 Dr. Bruehl graduated from the Université de Montreal and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He opened Orono Family Medicine in 1978 and operated that practice until 1999 when Orono Family Medicine merged with Sunbury Medical Associates. Dr. Bruehl became the Divisional Medical Director of Sunbury's Bangor location and currently serves as the Chair of Board for Sunbury Medical Associates.

Dr. Bruehl has been awarded Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA) by their Diabetes Physician Recognition Program. According to the NCQA/ADA:  “Physicians who achieve [this] Recognition show their peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care.”
